Conrad, Joseph (1857-1924), Autograph letter signed, on card from Capel House, Orlestone, Nr. Ashford, written on both sides, in French, dated 10 May 1912, to "Mon cher Davray," asking Davray if he would ask the publisher of Secret Agent if he would pay him an advance, and if so, how much to expect, as well as future publishing plans involving "Freya of the Seven Isles," "Chance," and others, (bends, lightly browned).
