18kt Gold, Colored Diamond, and Diamond Brooch, designed as a kitty on a curb link safety chain leash, bezel-set with oval-cut and round brilliant-cut colored diamonds weighing 17. 08 and approx. 0.96 cts., further enhanced with diamond ears, paws, and tail, approx. total wt. 1.26 cts., lg. 1 3/4 in. Provenance: Property of the Crom family of Florida, important collectors of horological instruments. Note: Accompanied by GIA report no. 1314069, dated January 15, 1982, stating that the diamond is natural fancy yellowish-brown color, clarity VVS2, faint yellow fluorescence. The diamonds for the brooch were supplied by Lazare Kapan, New York.
