Jacobean Carved Walnut Blanket Chest, composed of antique elements, rectangular top and conforming case carved with panels of scrolling foliage and stippled decoration, with base drawer and chip carved plinth, ht. 21 1/2, wd. 54 1/4, dp. 21 in. Shrinkage cracks throughout top; sun bleached and with dark rings to same; front with good color and also with shrinkage; age typical defects.
