Three Piece Louis XV-style French Bronze and Alabaster Clock Garniture, late 19th century, the clock with Samuel Marti two-train half-striking movement set into alabaster urn-form case topped by a bronze figure of Cupid with bow, and ending in husk swags and a pendant berry, raised aloft by a pair of classical maiden figures, on ovoid base mounted with laurel branches, paterae, and scrolls, on leaf-topped feet, ht. 31 5/8, with a pair of six light figural candelabra, with acanthus scroll arms and torch-form nozzled, on stems formed as classical maidens, one bearing grapes, the other a water urn, on conforming ovoid base, ht. 29 1/2 in. Two large hairlines to the top surface of the alabaster base of the clock. generally all very clean throughout. Missing five of the candle cups. Diameter of candleabra is 11 3/4". Depth of clock base is 8".
