Four American Victorian Silverplate Napkin Rings, late 19th century, a James W. Tufts ring enclosed in a horseshoe engraved "Bonheur," on oval base with four ball feet, ht. 2 3/4, a Rogers & Bro. ring mounted onto a moving two-wheeled cart drawn by a walking dog, ht. 2 5/8, a Simpson, Hall, Miller ring on rectangular base with clipped corners, and mounted with a figure of a seated cherub reading a book, ht. 2 3/8, and a Hartford Silver Plate Co. ring mounted on a short stem, flanked by two figures of squirrels nibbling nuts, on oval base, ht. 2 3/4 in. wear to plating, and darkening of metal. dog example likely replated. Tufts ring numbered 1540. Simpson 02. Hartford 01. minor age wear.
