Cased French . 800 Silver Goblet Set, Paris, c. 1838-1861, maker's mark LB, with bell-shaped colorless glass bowl etched with floral swags and with gilt rim, set into finely reticulated base of diapered roundels and fruiting grapevines, on vertically lobed baluster stem, and lobed foot engraved with strapwork, ht. 6 1/2, in fitted case with matching pair of sugar tongs with paw-form nips, lg. 6 1/2, and a teaspoon, lg. 5 7/8 in., both engraved with strapwork, approx. 2 troy oz. weighable silver, in fitted leathered and satin-lined case with date of 1861 written to interior. good. cup with very minor wear to gilt rim, satin lining with some soiling and toning. minor wear to exterior of case.
