Queen Anne Memorial Doll in Giltwood Shadow Box Case, Continental, c. 1735, carved wooden head and torso with jointed wooden legs, gesso and painted head, shoulders and hands, leather arms with wood hands, brown pupil-less glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes with nicely blushed cheeks and a human hair wig, wearing original peach silk dress with metallic trim, silk pocket, cotton handkerchief, original paper bodice with illegible writing, doll ht. 17, enclosed in a giltwood shadow box, lg. 16, ht. 27 in., (very good).
