Early George III Silver Teapot, London, 1760, Thomas Whipham and Charles Wright, makers, squat inverted pear shaped, with slightly domed lid, fluted and reeded pear finial, scrolled wood handle, engraved at girdle with flowering vine, on spreading foot, monogrammed, ht. 6 in., approx. 16 troy oz. lid finial pushed in a bit to one side. wear to the engraved design and monogram. period monogram to one side, later set of monograms to other side. minor overall age wear.
