Two English Silver and Cobalt Glass-lined Table Articles, London, comprising a George III sugar basket, 1773, John Lautier, maker, ovoid, on domed trumpet foot, pierced with reeds and orbs covered with a drapery swag, guilloche swing handle, ht. of body without handle 4, and a Victorian boat shaped bowl, 1884, makers' mark JA TS, pierced with borders of leaftip, and with central navettes and sunbursts, lg. 6 7/8 in., approx. 8 troy oz. total. good. Victorian glass with a few tiny fleabite rim chips, and flaw at center of base where cobalt flashing didn't cover colorless.
