English Mahogany and Rosewood Veneered Lap Desk, early 20th century, rectangular, the hinged lid opening to embossed calf writing slide and storage, rosewood veneering to interior, 15 3/4 x 9 1/2 in. morocco lining liked a new replacement. interior lid finial needs regluing. interior compartments with some ink staining. top with two light veneer shrinkage lines. age typical scratching and usage wear. small chips and shrinkage cracks to corners.
