Martin & Company, Nazareth, c. 1928, Model OOO-45, stamped CF MARTIN & CO, NAZARETH PA on the center strip and at the back of the peghead, stamped 38458 at the upper block, length of back 20 3/8 in., width of lower bout 15 1/8 in., with later case. Sides and back clear coated, top overcoated or possibly refinished. Replacement bridge cracked, tailpin missing. Top of fingerboard shaved to about 3/32 in. Binding refinished with yellow tint. Back of neck clear coated. Frets, fretboard inlays replaced (except for top snowflake) Case not original. Back finish imprinted in a long, curved line by strap, possibly vinyl, reacting with varnish. Bridge plate original, ok. Complete repair estimate includes applying correct finish, new fingerboard and bridge, frets and neck reset $4000-5000.
