Martin & Company, Nazareth, 1902, Model 1-42, stamped CF MARTIN & CO, NAZARETH PA on the center strip and at the back of the peghead, and CF MARTIN & CO, NAZARETH PA, 9467 at the upper block, length of back 18 7/8 in., width of lower bout 13 in., with later case. Repaired hairline lower back crack, approx. 7 in., repaired hairline bass side rib crack approx. 5 in., repaired hairline cracks to treble side rib approx. 9 and 5 inches. Replacement oversize ivory bridge, replacement oversize rosewood bridge plate. Initialed inside by Frank Martin. Top possibly French polished, other surfaces original.
