Georgian 14kt Gold and Inkwork Memorial Ring, late 18th century, depicting a mourning woman by an urn under the motto "Not Lost But Gone Before," enamel shank reading: "John Dunbar OBt 23 Sep 1775 AEt 38," size 8, in an antique box, (repair). Repair is a soldered disc with associated support to shoulder under shank. Fairly unobtrusive. Age-typical dings to enamel on shank. Box with wear, and typical scuffs and scratches with age.
