Art Deco Jadeite, Onyx, and Diamond Brooch, Boucheron, Paris, by Boucheron Atelier, composed of two pierced and carved jadeite disks joined by arched onyx plaques highlighted by rose-cut diamond bands, accented by buff-top jadeites, platinum mount, wd. 3 in., signed Boucheron Paris, no. 2794. Note: Boucheron Archives have said that, according to their records, this brooch was made in 1923 and sold at Boucheron London in 1928. For a Boucheron brooch of similar design in onyx, coral and diamonds, see Boucheron, Four Generations of a World-Renowned Jeweler, by Gilles Neret, p. 92, fig. 152. Boucheron Jadeite Brooch made by the Aterlier Boucheron, according to records of the archives there are some small gaps between the edges of the small calibre cut jadeite pieces and the mount; they are not obtrusive and appear to be original to the piece and in the nature of the material (i.e. they don't appear to be chipping from damage) possible small chip or less to the edge of one jadeite disk - the other side has a similar shape, however-can see a fraction of the metal frame behind it
