Pair of French Portrait Miniatures on Ivory, c. 1819-20, oval, one depicting a young brunette woman in lace collar and blue wrap, identified to reverse as Margaretta Bradford, the other a young man in blue coat and yellow vest, signed c.r. Mlle. Hue Debreval, identified to reverse as William Eliot, both in velvet surrounds, sight lg. 2 3/4 in. frames in poor condition. the image of the woman showing dark spots to lower area, likely from water staining. sight lg. 2 3/4", sight wd. 2 1/8". frames 5 x 7".
