Continental Rococo Marquetry-inlaid Fruitwood Slant-lid Desk, the lid inlaid with a basket of flowers, fitted with two short drawers and one long drawer, on cabriole legs with foliate cast mounts, ht. 41, wd. 21, dp. 20 in. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CORRECT WIDTH ON THIS LOT IS 40 inches. Some veneer losses to upper leg, right side, minor veneer popping and crossbanding loss throughout, top with two long top to bottom shrinkage cracks and two inches of missing veneer lower left corner and some minor losses to crossbanding, some areas of fill repairs.
