Pair of Framed School Girl Embroideries of the Eastern and Western Hemispheres, early 19th century, silk threads and ground, one titled "Eastern or Old World", the other "Western or New World," each depicting a globe over a floral garland, and topped by a ribbon, in giltwood frame, sight size 16 x 12 5/8, frame 18 3/4 x 15 1/4 in. one frame lacking glass. tears to upper edge of both. toning. chipping to frames. loss to approx. 1" spot to upper left of globe of Eastern World.
