Wedgwood Black Basalt Root Pot, England, c. 1868, rectangular form with pierced lid supporting three insert cups, the pot with three panels of cupids supporting a wreath, impressed mark, ht. 5 1/2 in. Two insert cups professionally restored; pot and lid in very good condition throughout with no apparent cracks, chips or restorations.
