George III Polychrome Painted Satinwood Console Table, early 19th century, rectangular top with re-entrant corners and decorated with a central classical frieze and with foliate painted border, the frieze and legs similarly decorated, with cuffed feet, ht. 30 3/4, lg. 51 1/2, dp. 22 in. Classical scene likely added later; good color; moderate to heavy shrinkage to top and with waviness and popping veneer and one large chip near front; edge with chipping; two cuffs missing; color good.
