Claes Oldenburg (Swedish/American, b. 1929) Double Punching Bag/Poster, 1967, printed by Atelier Mourlot, New York (Axsom & Platzker, 48.1). Initialed and dated in the matrix. Lithograph in black and brown on paper, sheet size 38 x 20 in., framed. Condition: Printer's text trimmed from lower edge, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Collection of Dr. Annella Brown. The sheet has been trimmed by about 1/4 inch in length, thus the printers information is missing from the bottom edge. The work was partially removed from its frame; enough to confirm that the sheet is not laid down.
