Staffordshire Creamware Queen Charlotte Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1763, attributed to Wedgwood, globular shape with foliate molded handle and spout, black transfer printed with titled portrait to one side, the reverse with crown and symbols of state above a scroll titled "Long Live King George and Queen Charlotte," ht. 4 3/4 in. Cover: one petal of floral finial broken and missing, 1" rim hairline. Pot: lower lip of spout quite chipped; the glaze with several "stretch marks"; glaze nicks to the rim and the top of the handle.
