Signed "Minor White" in pencil l.r., dated "1962" in pencil l.l., dedicated "For Nick, at the lighting of a new candle, Minor" in pencil on the reverse. Gelatin silver print, image size 5 3/4 x 7 1/4 in., unframed, mounted. Condition: Minor wear/losses to extreme edges, foxing/staining to the mount. Provenance: Through the estate of Nicholas Dean, Wiscasset, Maine. N.B. A former dancer and choreographer, Drid Williams is the co-founder and co-editor of the Journal for the Anthropological Study of Human Movement , and has written numerous books on dance, the theory of human movement, and anthropology.
