Mahogany Wall Regulator, New England, c. 1835, wood-front swell-bottom case with 7 3/4 in. dia. Roman numeral iron dial, unusual steel hands, eight-day brass time-only movement with recoil escapement and maintaining power all powered by an iron weight and regulated by a brass-faced pendulum, ht. 32 in. Dial probably relined, 1 in. of object right section of head is restored, bottom board replaced, old surface on case.
