Needlework Sampler, "Florella Broadrick Waterbury [CT] 1833," worked in silk threads on a linen ground, with rows of alphabets over a verse and names, birthdates, and date of death of relatives, over a scene of a couple and their homestead, surrounded by a geometric vine, (toning, tear l. c.), 18 x 18 in., in a bird's-eye maple frame. The tear is about 1 in. long, just to right of house.
