Seven Assorted Military Items, America, 19th century, a small engraved powder horn depicting a raccoon, deer, tree, and a large cat; a leather and beaver militia cap with gilt-brass eagle and wreath cap insignias; two volunteer militia infantry cap plates, c. 1825-40, with embossed silver-plated copper eagle and panoply, the reverse with two wire loops and a plume socket; a brass, steel, and wood flintlock pistol-form tinder lighter; a leather musket ball case with applied gilt brass monogram "PCL" inside flap impressed "J.A. BAKER N.Y.," and a black-painted powder tin with stenciled swan motif and lettering "NEW ENGLAND SPORTING POWDER," ht. 3 1/2-7 1/2 in. All items in fairly good condition, the cap plates likely made in England.
