Samuel W. Griggs (American, 1827-1898) Panoramic Landscape with Hay Wagon Signed "S.W. Griggs" l.r. Oil on canvas, 18 x 30 in. (45.7 x 76.2 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, surface grime. The lining is adhered with wax. Retouch is large areas throughout most of the sky as well as some small to medium sized areas in the foreground. Scattered craquelure stable. Some areas of shrinkles with minor scattered losses. The work would benefit from a gentle cleaning.
