Raffaele Resio (Italian, 1854-1927) Serenade on the Balcony Signed "R. RESIO." l.l., Rome panel stamp on the reverse. Oil on panel, 9 1/4 x 14 in. (23.4 x 35.5 cm), framed. Condition: Minor scattered retouch, subtle surface grime, fine craquelure. The frame is protected in an open shadow box. There is some scattered losses/flaking, predominately in areas of white building (near the outstretched arm of the figure in blue) and in the area of the balcony fence, c.r. There is also a small abrasion with surrounding losses to the outstretched arm of the figure in blue. The work would probably benefit from a gentle cleaning.
