John Clinton Spencer (American, 1861-1919) Still Life with Basket of Fruit Signed and dated "-J. C. Spencer 1917-" l.l. Oil on canvas, 20 x 30 in. (50.8 x 76.2 cm), framed. Condition: Patch reinforcement u.l., scattered retouch. There is a repaired and retouched tear (about 1 inch) to the grape leaf in the upper left, plus several other tiny dots of retouch. The work would benefit from cleaning.
