James Goodwin McManus (American, 1882-1958) Lot of Two Landscapes: The Hatt Farm House at Salem Connecticut and Captain Jim's Meadow Salem signed and dated "James Goodwin McManus 1953" l. l., identified in the artist's hand on the reverse, Meadow signed "James Goodwin McManus" l.r., identified on a partial label from the Lyme Art Association, Old Lyme, Connecticut, affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvasboard, 12 x 16 in. (30.5 x 40.6 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime.
