Jules Kirschenbaum (American, 1930-2000) Conjurer Monogrammed and dated "19 K 55" l. r., identified on an exhibition label (see below and a label from Harry Salpeter Gallery Inc., New York, affixed to the reverse. Tempera on Masonite, 40 x 24 1/2 in. (101.5 x 62.2 cm), framed. Condition: Minor scattered flaking and losses. Scattered dots of losses throughout but primarily to u.l. quadrant, paint color names inscribed probably in the artist's hand on the reverse.
