Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Sueño y mentira de Franco (Planche II), 1937, total edition of 1,000 (Cramer, 28). Stamped signature l.r., numbered "494/850" in pencil l.l., dated and identified within the plate, identified in text affixed to the reverse. Etching and aquatint on paper, plate size 12 3/8 x 16 5/8 in. (31.4 x 42.1 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. The sheet may be very gently toned. The work was created by the artist with no aquatint in the lowest register, but the impression is good and even. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
