Henri Matisse (French, 1869-1954) Etudes pour Saint Dominique, 1950-51, edition of 200 (Duthuit, 658). Signed and numbered "125/200 H. Matisse" in pencil l.r. Lithograph on chine appliqué, image size 7 1/2 x 6 3/8 in. (19.0 x 16.2 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Two deckled edges to supporting sheet, toning (especially to margins), glue/residue to edges on the reverse. Toning, prevalent to the supporting sheet (which measures 15 x 11 7/8 in.). Annotations and staining to edges, probably from cellophane tape, to verso.
