Félix Hilaire Buhot (French, 1847-1898) La Petite Marine - Souvenir de Medway, 1879, probably the third state of six (Bourcard & Goodfriend, 153). Monogrammed, dated, and inscribed in the plate, identified on a label from Frederick Keppel & Co., Inc., New York, on the reverse. Etching on paper, plate size 6 3/8 x 8 1/2 in. (16.0 x 21.5 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 1/4 inch or more, subtle toning, not examined out of frame.
