Thomas Hart Benton (American, 1889-1975) Gateside Conversation, 1946, edition of 250, published by Associated American Artists (Fath, 69). Signed "Benton" in pencil l.r. and in the matrix. Lithograph on paper, image size 9 7/8 x 13 7/8 in. (25.0 x 35.2 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the margins are 1/2 inch or more, with the sheet measuring 11 x 15 1/4 in. The work is light-struck. There is paper tape staining and residue to the verso.
