Bronze Warrior, Japan, late 19th/early 20th century, cast as the figure of Kato Kiyomasa, the Japanese daimyo of the Azuchi-Momoyama and Edo period, fully armored and wearing an extravagant helmet, standing in the position of fighting with his spear, rectangular wood stand with archaic scroll feet, ht. 12 1/4 in. (16 in. with stand). The top of the spear came loose (kept in a plastic bag)
