Pair of Bronze Drinking Vessels, Jue , China, in the form of an archaic ritual bronze jue , surface cast with three bands of key-fret patterns, the feet slightly curved outwards, two columnar posts to either side, inscribed with "made in an auspicious day in the winter of the thirteenth year of Qianlong reign" to the underside of the spout, and probably of the same period, ht. 6 1/4 in. (to the top of the posts).
