Gilt-bronze Figure of Usnisavijaya, Tibet, 18th century, the eight-armed three-headed divinity seated in the dhyanasana pose on a double-lotus throne, her primary hands in dhyana and bhumisparsa mudras , her secondary right hand in vitarka mudra , and the remaining arms posed elegantly around her, one hand holding a small figure of Buddha, wearing close-fitting dhoti with beaded ornaments, two heads with benevolent expression, and the left with menacing face, base plate intact, ht. 4 1/4 in. Loss to gilt, minor flaw to the bottom
