Handscroll, China, probably Ming dynasty, ink and colors on silk, blue and green landscape painting in the style of Li Zhaodao (675-730), signed Zhaodao , ten seals, jade clasp, 73 1/2 x 18 1/2 in. Provenance: In the collection of Professor Wu Dayuan at Tsinghua University in the 1940s; given to Professor Yang Lien-Sheng at the Yenching Institute at Harvard, and has been in Charles Chu's collection since the 1980s, recorded in the colophon by Professor Yang and also on the original handwritten document.
