Handscroll, China, " Si ji shang wan tu " (Appreciating the Four Seasons), ink and colors on silk, 18th century copy of a handscroll painted in the autumn of the twenty-first year of Chenghua reign (equivalent to 1485), as dated on the scroll, one collector's seal, jade clasp, 303 1/2 x 18 in. Provenance: Purchased in 1985 from Professor Yang Lien-Sheng's (unknown) friend at Harvard University. Professional repairs to the back of the mount, crackquelures to the mount.
