Various Chinese Works on Paper, Ma Xiuying, ten folk paintings, 25 x 18 in. each; two calligraphic pieces, one by Huang Junshi, the other by K.S. Wang, unmounted, 49 x 7 in. each; hanging scroll, Li Damu, ink and colors on paper, depiction of peonies and rockwork, dated mid-winter in the jiayin year (1974), one seal, 72 x 16 1/2 in.; pair of Chinese paintings, anonymous, one of seven birds in flight, the other of two cranes, ink and colors on silk, combined with embroideries of certain areas, 31 1/2 x 17 and 20 x 15 1/2 in. each; calligraphy, attributed to Zhang Chou (1577-1643), originally a front piece to a handscroll, reads " Qun fang xian shou " (Thousands of flowers offered at a birthday celebration), mounted on silk, 37 x 17 in. Foxing and some tears to the pair of embroidered paintings; creases and foxing to the calligraphy attributed to Zhang Chou, and professional repairs to the back.
