Jade Vase, China, of bianhu shape, the body carved in low relief with triangular blade panels of archaic dragons, flanked by dragon handles with jump rings, attached by interlocking chains to a jade carving of chilong biting on its tale, the neck of the vase and the phoenix-surmounted dome cover each surrounded by four lugs with small ring pendants, pedestal foot, the stone of pale lavender color with apple-green and russet mottling, fitted wood stand carved with ruyi clouds, ht. 8 1/4 in. The pendant has been broken off and reglued together
