Jade Vase, China, of flattened cylindrical form with irregular rim, the sides well carved in high relief with a continuous landscape of mountains, pavilions, bamboo, pine trees, and lingzhi fungus, with a scholar-recluse on each side, one riding on a boat, the other crossing a bridge with a walking stick, the semi-translucent stone of pale celadon color with some white mottling, wood stand carved and pierced as pine and bamboo grown on rockwork, lg. 5 1/2, ht. 5 3/4 in.
