Blue and White Vase and Cover, China, of baluster form, decorated with cartouche on either side of scholar with attendants in a garden scene, reserved on flower and bird ground, all between a band of prunus florets around the base and brocade patterns with cartouches above the shoulder, the cover surmounted by a foo dog finial, apocryphal Xuande four-character mark on the base, ht. 12 1/2, (15 in. with cover). Flaws to the rim of the cover.
