Blue and White Moon Flask, China, Qianlong six-character seal mark in underglaze blue and of the period (1736-1795), the flattened round body heavily potted and finely painted in underglaze blue simulating "heaping and piling" effect with a myriad of stylized flowers borne on leafy meanders, between band of wave patterns around the mouth rim and above the foot, the neck flanked by blue glazed lugs in the shape of archaic chi dragons, ht. 14 3/8, dia. 10 1/4 in.
