Blanc de Chine Wine Pot and Cover, China, 19th century, the cylindrical body covered inside and out with transparent glaze suffused with a network of small crackles, except for the mouth rim and the foot ring, molded around the body with two chilong crawling across a molded line, one positioned upside down with its curled body cleverly forming the handle, the other climbing towards the shoulder with its opening jaw forming the spout, a tiny chilong coiling on top of the cover, forming the finial, apocryphal Chenghua four-character mark carved on the base, ht. 4 3/4 in.
