Two Porcelain Plaques, China, Republican period, one painted in famille rose palette depicting Bodhidharma reading a scroll, seated nearby a gnarled pine tree beneath the full moon, inscribed and signed "Wang Qi"; the other painted in underglaze blue with an Immortal and attendant, inscribed, signed and stamped, both framed and mounted as hanging panels, 14 x 8 1/2, 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 in. Loss to the lower right corner and surface wears to the blue and white plaque which is consistent with age
