Chinese, 18th century. Pair of large Chinese iron mounted and polychrome wood decorated entryway or temple doors, both of the rectangular door panels reinforced by elaborate iron metalwork and strapping secured by raised large and small bosses separating three panels decorated with blindfret cloud scrolls, meander scroll and foliage and centered with octagonal medallions enclosing a relief mounts of birds, beast and flowering peony, a large iron bolt suspending loose ring handles is also mounted to the top panel, traces of red and green paint. Height 83.5", width 25.25".
