Cloisonne Box with Ming Jade, China, the box late 19th century, rectangular shape, enameled with stylized lotus blooms borne on a leafy scroll on a turquoise ground, the cover inset with a jade plaque, late Yuan/early Ming period (14th/15th century), of pale celadon color, intricately carved and pierced as a dragon striding amidst foliate scrolls interspersed with auspicious symbols: ruyi -heads, bat, pheasant, cash coins, and lotus flowers, ht. 2 1/2, lg. 7 1/8, wd. 3 1/4 in. No damage.
