English Aesthetic Movement Tile-mounted and Ebonized Pedestal, c. 1875, stepped top above a shoulder carved with gadrooning and leaftips above a tapered body mounted with two small foliate plaques and a large figural plaque; the front panel opening to two small shelves, on plinth base, ht. 47, wd. 16, dp. 14 in. Top with shrinkage to top and chipping and rubbing to edges; minor rubbing to leaves and front gadrooning to upper body; top plaque with chip and crack; lower part of body in age typical condition.
