Italian Grand Tour Model of the Colonna di Foca, late 19th century, after the original standing in Rome's forum, erected to honor the emperor Phocas, formed as a Siena marble fluted Corinthian column topped by small bronze figure of the standing emperor, on square pedestal incised "Colonna Foca" on square, stepped base with black slate plinth, ht. 22 in. bronze figure needs reattaching to column, with old glue and plaster remnants from previous repairs; small marble plinth under figure with restoration and some edge loss to previous plaster/composition repair. column needs reattaching to base; edge of base of column with some chips. stepped base needs on step segment reattached with old glue residue present. light edge chipping to lower section of base and edge of plinth.
